It's time to plan out another Photogenics Creative Images Photo Shoot Event! This time it will be at the Black Rock Desert in northern Nevada.
Join now! You can't wait until the day before to commit! Events like this need to be planned out in advance! We need to plan sets, logistics and refreshments for attendees. We won't do that unless we get commitments from enough attendees! That said, participation will be limited to a few inspired models and one additional photographer.
This location is vast and VERY dramatic! The general concepts may include things like picnic, couch and floor lamp, office cubicle, bed, mirrors, maybe old cars, and whatever else you can come up with and make happen. I'm completely open to any creative input. The idea is to create amazing, artistic content to share with the world!
This project will challenge your commitment to the art as it is a 100 mile drive, possible high temperature, and early morning hours (for the best light and to beat the heat). A shade canopy, water, mist cooling and sunscreen will be provided.
Don't be intimidated by the level of production - it's not as it would appear. You are in good hands and will be guided and instructed as needed. I have worked with all levels of models from first timers to fill time professionals. Seriously, don't miss out on this opportunity because of fear or doubt!
Questions have come up regarding the level or lack of clothing. I want to strongly address this straight up front. I have no requirements and leave that entirely up to you. The models that have responded so far have indicated flowy dresses and maybe lingerie. That's all good because we will be having fun and making art, not porn.
The time and date are tentatively set, September 21, ready to start at 7:00 AM and going until who knows. It may sound like a lot of time but with setup, teardown, changing fits and sets, signing releases and social interaction, the time will fly by so please arrive a little early! Remember that the afternoon temperatures HOT and it's often windy.
As another perk, we will seek clothing brands to sponsor this event by providing wardrobe items!
The time committment is not much for an uproariously good time, all the great pics you'll get, and possibly clothing from a sponsor too! The thing is planning and executing projects of this size and magnitude is very time consuming and the results are sOoOoOoOo worth it! Because of that, you have to solidly commit to attend and not back out for any reason! More than a pinkie promise, I'm talking about a hard commitment. Any questions?
This event will be the farthest from Reno yet but very much worth it! Previous events are held at convenient, weather appropriate places like The Jesse and the graffiti wall. We will try to hold our events at different locations in Reno or conveniently close.
Past events have been a great time with photographers and model supporting each other with guidance, encouragement, inspiration and laughter! The ladies often help each other out with makeup and wardrobe too, not required, it just happens. If his turns out like other Photogenics Photo Shoot Events, plenty of material will get published (with your consent, of course).
These events are a great way to network, get tons of great pics to use as you wish, and have tons of fun in a safe, professional, supportive environment! These events are open to every model regardless of age (18 or over please), race, or body type. Female models only please - contact us to request an exception (maybe you want pics of you and your BF or something). Group and/or solo (probably with others in the studio) shoots will be performed.
There will be spots for 3 or 4 modelss and one or two additional photographers. You don't have to be a model, you only have to want great pics of yourself (alone or with others) and be ready to have boatload of fun! Just look at it as taking some pictures! Feel free to participate at whatever level you want - art, fashion, glamour, boudoir, solo, group, anything!
